Scarpa Sandals in Bordeaux

The Italian full-grain horsehide was selected for its combination of strength, flexibility and the way it develops through wear. Its oiled, crinkled surface gives each pair a naturally irregular character, while both the footbed and straps gradually soften and adapt to the wearer over time.

The footbed is built from two stacked leather sole layers, with the upper horsehide stretched over a substantial layer of bull neck leather. This creates a firm yet responsive structure that gradually forms around the foot and develops a more personal shape the longer it is worn.
The wider, sculpted silhouette was developed not only as a visual element, but to provide a generous standing surface and a more secure feel while walking. The vegetable-tanned leather remains naturally breathable and becomes increasingly supple through use.

As the first ADM step into footwear, the Scarpa Sandals were developed with particular focus on construction and longevity. Every component is shaped, assembled and stitched entirely by hand without the use of electrical machinery, finished with an original Vibram rubber outsole for durability and grip.
